Cape Cod Commuter LotsCape Cod Park & Ride Lots

Beat the traffic by leaving your car in a Park & Ride lot, and sharing the ride to your destination on Cape Cod RTA transit buses, and coaches operated by Plymouth & Brockton and Peter Pan.

Here’s the list:
$$ = Parking fee, otherwise free parking.

Hyannis Transportation Center – At the east end of Hyannis’ Main Street. $$, Monthly discounts. 160 spaces. Connect with Cape Cod RTA , P&B and Peter Pan bus coaches.

Sagamore – At Routes 3 & 6 near the Sagamore Bridge in Bourne. 377 spaces. Connect with P&B buses.  Could be full by 8 am.

Barnstable – Exit 6 off Rte. 6 and Rte. 132. 365 spaces. Connect with Cape Cod RTA transit buses, P&B and Peter Pan bus coaches.  Could be full by 8 am.

Harwich – Exit 10 off Rte. 6 and Rte. 124. 75 spaces. Connect with Plymouth & Brockton coaches and Cape Cod RTA bus (by request).

Harwich Port – Off Rte, 28. West of Gorham Road, connect with the Freedom Cruise Lines fast ferry to Nantucket, and the Cape Cod RTA bus.

Eastham – Coast Guard Beach shuttles. At Little Creek off Rte. 6 at Nauset Rd. toward the beach from Salt Pond Visitor Center. $$ Connect with Cape Cod RTA buses at Salt Pond Visitors Center.

Falmouth Heights – At Falmouth Heights Rd. and Scranton Ave. Connect with the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.

Provincetown - Municipal lot at McMillan Pier.  $$.  Connect to Cape Cod RTA buses and the Cape Cod RTA Shuttle to Cape Cod National Seashore Beaches.  Also park and fly at Provincetown Municipal Airport.

Steamship Authority Lots: All $$.

Woods Hole/Falmouth Parking Lots
Falmouth Parking Information: 508 495-PARK

The Woods Hole/Falmouth area has five parking lots. Free shuttle bus service is provided between all offsite lots and the Woods Hole ferry terminal. Watch for parking information on variable message signs along Route 28 southbound.

Seasonal bike/carriage bus available every day throughout the summer season. All shuttle buses have racks capable of accommodating at least two bikes during daylight hours on a first-come, first-served basis. MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express are accepted for payment at all parking lots.

Plan to arrive at least an hour prior to scheduled departure to allow time for parking during the busy summer season. During summer, expect high passenger and automobile traffic volume. As a result, main parking lots often are full.

Four parking lots are available. Free shuttle service is provided between the offsite lots and the Hyannis ferry terminal in a 15-passenger bus. MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express are accepted for payment at all parking lots

Hy-Line Ferry Lots: Adjacent to terminal at 220 Ocean Street in Hyannis.  All $$. Walk to ferries for Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.  No shuttle required.

Hyannis – All $$. Four lots south and west of the terminal. 640 spaces

 

Barnstable Municipal Airport (Hyannis): Most $$. For flights to Martha’s Vineyard Nantucket and off-Cape destinations. 855 spaces adjacent to terminal in season; 1,230 satellite spaces.
