Cape Cod by Land

CAPEX Bus from Cape Cod to T.F. Green Airport ProvidenceThe Hyannis Transportation Center, at the east end of Main Street in Hyannis, is home to The Breeze transit buses and shuttles, and coaches serving Cape Cod and off-Cape destinations.

From the Mainland:

  • New! CAPEX, Cape and Providence Express Bus Service, serves Sagamore, Barnstable and Harwich from T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island via the AMTRAK station in downtown Providence, Fall River and New Bedford.
  • Peter Pan – Bonanza Bus Lines serves Bourne and the Falmouth Transportation Center from T. F. Green Airport in Rhode Island with stops in downtown Providence, Fall River and New Bedford.
  • Peter Pan - Bonanza Bus Line  serves Bourne, Falmouth/Woods Hole from Logan Airport, downtown Boston, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, Providence, RI, New Bedford, Worcester and Western Mass.  A carrier change may be required.
  • Peter Pan - Bonanza Bus Line serves Hyannis from Washington, DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, Providence, RI, Fall River and New Bedford.  A carrier change may be required.

All Hyannis-bound buses arrive at the Hyannis Transportation Center.

The Breeze
Once on Cape Cod, go to all major destinations on Breeze buses. The Breeze serves Barnstable, Hyannis, Falmouth, Woods Hole and Orleans and points in between. From any point along the route, you may wave to a Breeze driver to pick you up. All Breeze vehicles have bicycle racks and are accessible to people with disabilities. Multiple ride discount passes are available.

The Flex
The Flex Bus

The Flex serves Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown.

Going off-route? Just make a reservation at least two hours ahead of time, and the Flex bus will take you to destinations within ¾ of a mile of its main route. Call 800 352-7155.

You can wave to the driver to stop at any safe place along its route. There’s one major exception: flagging is not permitted anywhere along Rte. 6 for safety reasons.

In season, ride the Woods Hole Trolley between Falmouth and Woods Hole.  Ride the Provincetown-North Truro Shuttle to National Seashore beaches in Provincetown.  Ride the Yarmouth Shuttle to Nantucket Sound beaches.
